Water Lily - Poem by Sister Frances

If I were a flower, I'd be no rose
Far to sweet smelling, for my nose
Present at parties or Valentine's day
I'm for the brave that venture my way

They'd stubble by chance upon me
Out all alone as a wild pond lily
No need for no pruning by a man
Or slave to a garden or watering can
