A Cinematic Experience - Poem by Robert Murray Smith

Every night the mind
raises

The curtain on the theatre
at home

Its very own picture show, so
comfortable

No need to go out in the wind,
and rain

There is no program, the show
is played by ear

All the neurons take a seat in
the front row

After each dreamy film they all
clap waiting

For the next show, horror movies
are not always shown

But wait for the romantic films
these are favoured

This cinematic experience delights
all every night
