A Broken Heart - Poem by Akinbile Gabriel

Saviour from heaven above
Make whole myself from wretch,
Behold my heart with love;
No good within my reach,
But grace more than enough
Mercy to the lost and muff.

I strived to tear my heart apart;
I couldn't except the flesh depart

Two heavens make my rage:
Famous slayer, the stranger
And the faithful master;
Between saviour and savage,
Highland of the comforter
Or heck of the lucifer.

I strived to tear my heart apart;
I couldn't expect the flesh depart

Divine treasure never fade!
Can life by stranger be made?
The kingdom of loss may sty!
But holy makes my stand,
Defies the flesh and wasteland
Before tenable Most High.

I strived to tear my heart apart;
I couldn't except the flesh depart
