The Night - Poem by Mark Otieno

Most are afraid of the dark
Creepy sounds and what may lurk
They hide behind closed doors
Imagining the things outside with claws
Peeping through windows
Hoping to see what shows
But the moon reflects down its light
And tells them all is alright
The stars with all its sparks
Stretches out its lovely touch
Night with its godly complexion
Shows it has no evil intention
