The Moment Between Dying And Death - Poem by Meghan

I am in the paranormal dream of yesterday
my vision is but a haze and my mind begins to sway
and I watch as my brain
gleefully, drunkenly skipping away to the train
all aboard the conductor calls
every little pink grey thinking orifice is crammed onto the railcar
in a passenger seat
new people and scary dreams it meets
and 110 to 55 it screams
what does that mean?
I stand lost and befuddled in confusion's tight grasp
then it hits me and I let out a little whine and a gasp
and those were the moments between dying and dead
my brain knew to GO but my body stayed
watching scenary, or the front of a train?
