I'M Feeling Nature - Poem by Manonton Dalan

my ball searching canopy of wintering trees
i heard crackles of branches and i pray
that somehow it will throw it back to open
it never did, thick fallen leaves keep
teasing squirrel came down from her perch
waving her tail and making high pitch noise

lake close by i can see fins slicing through
gliding rubbing each others to my delight
i forget my errand ball, lovely creatures
my shadow is caressing surface not a ripple
water so clear i can see roots of a grass
i can't help urge to touch surface, it's cold
