No Concern For Tomorrow - Poem by M. Douglas Hoss

On a tropical island
Her perfect body routinely
Tries to keep the beat,
Silhouetted against the sun.
With no unnecessary motions,
Her oldest friend lifts the veil of dignity
And then slowly dissolves,
Bathed in transcendent moonlight.
The crimson clouds of sensation
Stand in awe of her ultimate being,
And this endless twilight she sees herself
Reflected in my eyes, both of us having
No concern for tomorrow.
