The Scribblings Of A Hopeless Romantic - Poem by Seán McLaverty

There will come a time when nothing will matter.
Only the love you have for each other shall reign supreme.
Traversing the trials and tribulations of life, hand in hand.
Not one thing getting in your way, not one person, one event, nothing.
For the love you two bestow upon yourselves and
the World will be strong enough to end all Worldly strife,
to stop warring nations.
The love you two have for one another will fill the bellies of the starving,
and clear the consciences of the burdened.
For your love is pure, and to define it would taint it’s purity.
