Mary The Homeless - Poem by D.M. Barber

Mary cries
As mary sits
Thinking about’
Someone else’s kids
Mary’s homeless
Mary’s cold
Mary’s the reason
We all get old

Who should help her?
Who should care?
She’s my neighbor
But that’s not fair.

I’m too busy
I have too work
She should leave
And never return

Just like me
The homeless are human
But I cant see
Why we all disapprove of them.

As mary dies
No one cries
No one will weep
Nor miss any sleep

Coz that’s reality
Not may care
About the homeless
Whom the world we do share
