Loving An Immortal - Poem by Yang Yang

Sing a lullaby sweet
I cast myself to sleep
Amidst the gentle hue
Of ocean skies so blue.

I count to ten and caught
A lovely image sought
From distant foreign shores
And ancient mortal lores.

In him, majestic light
Halts regal angels' flight
What more can mortals do
Than be enticed by you?

Before the golden heaven
Your rare beauty've smitten
My fragile human heart
Far, far we are apart

In the spark of your eye
Sorrows and darkness die
I live and breath and wish
From you, a humble kiss

So distant are our hearts' end
Feelings and heartaches to tend
Everlasting do I wait
For love to weave our fate
