Parting The Sky - Poem by Eli MorenoDrew

The warmth of the sun
Crashed on our worried faces.
The warmth of countless fires,
Is the warmth that lights up my heart as
It lights up your smile.
And as it rests it's tired head on the hills
You and I can rest our worries on each other's shoulder.
As we watch it fall to nothing.
