Poems about summer - All About Summer

All About Summer - Poem by Aaron Colin Evans

I remember watching the curtains flutter,
drowsy and naked on the bedroom floor,
a stifling floral summer air,
floating in through the open door.

I remember the sun going down on us,
while we went down on each other,
and the sound of people laughing and drinking,
that’s what I love about summer.

Steamy hot sticky and sweaty,
making love during the day,
drinking, fucking, eating and sleeping,
repeating until it gets late.

And then in the evening we’ll shower,
I’ll put on some jeans and a shirt,
you wear a skirt and some heels,
I wanna show you off to the world.
