Poems about purple - Blue To Deep Purple

Blue To Deep Purple - Poem by Paul Amrod

I was born a poor boy
in a hut on a mountain.
Strived to find the answer
why heaven’s call was ever sounding.
I was always a searching child
with a cat’s curiosity.
I summoned our gracious savior
to render his luscious favors
exuding his generosity.
I was attracted to a band of pirates
excluded from the mainstream
by plotting tyrants.
We combed the ocean floor
for Atlantis and a secret door.
As we entered we found a prince
with his bride in white.
We beseeched him with a wish
to cure the savior’s world
from the despots’ dynamite.
Then the bells rang in triumph
as the skies then opened wide.
Echoing over the seven seas
came His voice to purify.
I then built a boat of wood
and I sailed into the valley.
Returning to the ocean
I swam unto the shore
as the waves were pounding.
I saw the blue turned to deep purple
as I fell into a celestial circle.
I became a gifted man
My soul has flown abreast
the glorious finale.
Then the cherub will restore
our faith and belief eternal.
Feeling the deeper content
of our benign surroundings.
I have always kept the notion
that true sentiments will prosper.
Once the parables and the verses
are understood for their intent.
Giving bountifully from His dominion
He will bring our spirits in motion.
Singing our praises we have sent
our rapturous jubilations.
Taken aside from deeper devotion
We will fulfill our aspirations.
I saw the blue turned to deep purple
as I fell into a celestial circle.
I became a gifted man
My soul has flown abreast
the glorious finale.
Then the adorable infants
woo as they are carried
to their cradles of peaceful rest
grinning gently in admiration.
We will all witness our conception
revealing the succeeding direction.
